JPMorgan Chase is the largest issuer of co-branded travel cards in the US (Hyatt, United, Marriott, Southwest, IHG, British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Disney). Chase also operates the Ultimate Rewards (UR) currency, earned by the Sapphire and Ink families and combinable across cards in a household.

  • Some Sapphire Reserve Cardholders Can Get Three Months of Marriott Gold. Check Your Account by September 30.

    Chase is offering three months of Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status to Sapphire Reserve cardholders, but the terms say it is invitation only, so check the Benefits tab in your Chase account before you get excited. If it is there, register between July 1 and September 30, 2026. Stay three qualifying paid nights during the three-month window and Gold runs through February 2028. Those nights have to be booked direct with Marriott, not through Chase Travel.

  • Chase to IHG: 100% Transfer Bonus Through July 30

    Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG One Rewards has a 100% transfer bonus through July 30 (then 70% through August). IHG points are a soft currency, so it is only worth it if you have a specific IHG stay in mind.

  • Hyatt and Air Canada Are Now Trading Points (Read Before You Convert)

    World of Hyatt and Air Canada's Aeroplan launched a partnership: convert Hyatt points to Aeroplan at 2:1, or book Hyatt free nights with Aeroplan points from 25,000. Most useful for Amex and Capital One holders, since Chase and Bilt already transfer to Hyatt directly.

  • World of Hyatt Card Bumps Its Bonus to 75,000 Points

    The World of Hyatt Credit Card is running an elevated welcome offer of up to 75,000 points (45,000 after $5,000 spend, plus up to 30,000 more), up from the usual 60,000. Limited-time, no published end date.

  • Homes & Villas by Marriott: 10% Off a Vacation Rental

    Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy is taking 10% off select rentals of 2 or more nights, on cash or points stays. Book by August 20, 2026 and stay through November 30. No registration or code needed.

  • Marriott and Japan Airlines Now Trade Status

    Link your Marriott Bonvoy and Japan Airlines accounts and each program starts rewarding the other: Bonvoy elites earn JAL FLY ON status points every year, and JAL elites get complimentary Marriott status. No end date.

  • Dinner and a Show for Free?

    Chase and OpenTable have again expanded the number of restaurants available for this benefit, and the changes are significant, with over 90 new outlets. Disappointingly, over sixty restaurants have been removed without notice.

  • United Premier Status Match: Apply by December 21 for 120 Days of Matched Status

    United's Premier Status Match Challenge is open through December 21, 2026: match elite status from another airline (American, Delta, Alaska, and more) into United Premier (Silver, Gold, Platinum, or 1K) for 120 days. Take one qualifying United flight to activate it, hit a reduced flying threshold within the window, and you can hold that status through January 2028. Matching mid-year gives you the longest runway.
