Southwest is showing a Rapid Rewards points sale in some accounts, with up to 50% off through October 29, 2026. Not everyone sees it, so check your own points purchase page before you plan around it.
The discount grows with the size of the purchase:
- 40% off when you buy 5,000 or more points
- 45% off at 12,000 or more
- 50% off at 16,000 or more
Southwest's regular price is $30 per 1,000 points. On the sale, 5,000 points is $90, 12,000 is $198, and 16,000 is $240. Buy 2,000 to 4,000 points and you pay the regular price. Points come in steps of 1,000, starting at 2,000.
