- The $350 annual fee leans on a pile of credits ($200 United travel, up to $180 Instacart, $150 Renowned hotels, $150 JSX, $100 rideshare, $80 Avis/Budget) - but each is "up to," tied to a specific platform, and several need activation, so the realistic offset is well below the paper total.
- Free first AND second checked bags for you and a companion on the same reservation - on United this is one of the card's most reliably valuable perks if you check luggage.
- Spend unlocks two real perks: a 10,000-mile award discount after $20,000 and 2 Global Economy Plus seat upgrades after $40,000 - conditional, not background.
