The 75,000 Avios welcome bonus (after $5,000 in 3 months) is the real draw here - Avios pool across AerClub, British Airways Executive Club, and Iberia Plus, so that haul can travel further than a single-airline currency suggests.
The companion ticket sounds like a slam dunk - it requires $30,000 in calendar-year spend to unlock, is only valid on Aer Lingus flights marketed AND operated by Aer Lingus, and the 12-month window to use it starts ticking immediately, so plan accordingly.
The 3x earn rate covers Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, and LEVEL flights booked directly with the airline - that's a genuinely useful earn coalition if you're in the Oneworld/IAG ecosystem, and a mostly irrelevant one if you're not.
NO earn rate above 1x for everyday spending categories like groceries, gas, or transit - the 2x on hotels is hotels-direct-only, so this card earns like a 1x everywhere workhorse for anything outside flights and direct hotel bookings.
Priority boarding is included for the primary cardmember and authorized users on Aer Lingus-operated US-Ireland routes - "subject to availability" is in the fine print, which is standard airline boarding language, but worth knowing it's not a guaranteed hard perk.
The DashPass membership and $10/quarter non-restaurant DoorDash credit feel a little out of place on a transatlantic airline card - they're real benefits, activation is required, and the credits run through December 2027, so grab them if you use the app, but they're not the reason to carry this card.
