EVA Air Infinity MileageLands is the loyalty program of Taiwan-based EVA Air, a Star Alliance carrier with about 85 widebodies (777-300ER, 787-9/10, A330) and a remarkable safety record - zero hull losses, accidents, or fatalities since founding (verify currency of claim on evaair.com). For US travelers the program's value is concentrated in Royal Laurel business class, one of the top-rated business cabins globally, and the rare comfort of a published, fixed region-based award chart in an industry that has mostly moved to dynamic pricing.

The catch is the transfer-partner picture. US Amex MR is not a partner (Singapore and Hong Kong Amex transfers exist but US Amex does NOT). Chase UR is not a partner. Capital One transfers at 4:3 (a 25% haircut from the former 1:1). Citi ThankYou transfers at 1:1 but takes 7-10 days - notably slow. Marriott Bonvoy 3:1 is the most predictable bridge. As of May 2026 EVA Infinity MileageLands is best treated as a destination-specific currency: build a balance only when you have a Royal Laurel redemption in mind.

Award chart

The actual numbers. Get your nerd on, memorize the cheap ones.

The cheat sheet.

See the rates

EVA Infinity MileageLands uses a published, fixed region-based award chart with separate charts for EVA-operated and Star Alliance partner awards. The partner chart is less competitive than Aeroplan or Turkish Miles & Smiles. Sample one-way pricing as of May 2026:

Route Cabin Miles (EVA chart)
Within Asia EVA Economy 15,000
Within Asia EVA Business 25,000 (round-trip ~50,000)
North America-Asia EVA Economy 37,500
North America-Asia EVA Business 75,000-80,000
North America-Asia EVA First (where flown) ~110,000
Star Alliance partner US-Europe Business 87,500-100,000
