Asiana Club
Asiana Club is the loyalty program of Asiana Airlines, the ICN-based Star Alliance carrier - and it is on a clock. Korean Air completed its acquisition of Asiana in December 2024, but the two carriers do not become a single airline until December 17, 2026, when Asiana Club is absorbed into Korean Air SKYPASS. After full integration, Asiana Club ceases to exist as a standalone program. The fleet (around 80 aircraft including A350, A380, A330, B777, and B767 freighters) is being absorbed into Korean Air, and Star Alliance membership ends December 16, 2026, with Asiana joining SkyTeam the following day; earning on Star Alliance flights through Asiana Club stops after October 15, 2026, and Star award tickets departing on or after December 17 will not be honored.
For US travelers the playbook is narrow: burn Asiana Club miles before integration to lock in fixed-chart Star Alliance pricing, do not accumulate post-merger, and note that Marriott Bonvoy no longer transfers to Asiana Club. Mile conversion at integration is 1:1 for flight-earned miles and 1:0.82 for partner or credit-card-earned miles per the mileage integration plan given final Korean FTC approval on September 15, 2026, and the conversion election applies to the entire balance. Former Asiana miles can book KE Economy and Prestige only post-integration, not First Class. Status maps cleanly: Diamond Plus to Morning Calm Select, Diamond Plus Lifetime to Morning Calm Premium, Platinum Lifetime to Million Miler.

Asiana operates Asiana Lounges at ICN (Incheon) and select outstations. Gold and above get Asiana Lounge access on same-day Asiana or Star Alliance flights. Star Alliance reciprocal lounge access continues for Asiana Gold members worldwide until approximately January 1, 2027 - after integration, expect the lounge program to transition to SkyTeam reciprocity under SKYPASS.

- No US flexible currency transfers; Marriott Bonvoy no longer transfers to Asiana Club.
- No US co-brand card.
- Asiana flights departing on or after December 17, 2026 move to Korean Air flight numbers and are operated by Korean Air. Asiana says the flight number changes and the transfer of booking and ticket information to Korean Air happen in stages from November 2 to December 3, 2026, with codeshare flights on December 7 to 9, and those dates can change. If you do not agree to your booking information moving to Korean Air, tell Asiana or your ticketing agency by 10:00 p.m. Korea time on November 1, 2026. Your booking is then canceled and refunded with fees waived.
