The Allegris cabin rollout (2024-2026) is the headline product story: a brand-new long-haul Business class with a mix of seat types including a privacy-door suite, plus fully enclosed First Class suites in a 1-1-1 layout. How to change or cancel an award: You can cancel or rebook an Award Flight, where permissible, on the Miles & More website or through the Miles & More Service Team. Unless the offer says otherwise, reduced Award Flights, including Fly Smart and mileage bargains, cannot be rebooked, and a cancellation refunds only the fees and taxes paid, not the miles or the partner surcharges. Online refunds for bookings with several passengers are only available for the entire booking. To cancel individual passengers, contact the Miles & More Service Team. If the airline cancels your Award Flight, contact the Miles & More Service Team or the operating airline. As a status benefit, HON Circle Members can rebook onto an earlier flight on the same day free of charge on Austrian Airlines, ITA Airways, Lufthansa and SWISS flights within Europe, if a seat is available in the travel class booked and the route is the same.
Fees: For Award Flights with Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Discover Airlines, Lufthansa, Lufthansa City Airlines and SWISS, the rebooking and cancellation policy depends on the fare you selected for each travel direction and is stated in the offer. Depending on the fare, rebooking or cancellation fees may apply, and rebooking options may be limited, for example to a change of date and time. For Award Flights with static mileage amounts, where the miles come from the award chart, rebooking costs EUR 50 (or the foreign currency equivalent) per person per rebooking. Only the date and time can change, and you may be charged additional taxes, fees and Miles & More airline partner surcharges. When you cancel before departure, you can choose between two options, unless the airline partner's own policy says otherwise. Either you get back only the taxes and fees, at no extra cost, with no miles or partner surcharges. Or, if the partner's fare conditions allow, you also get back the miles and partner surcharges, for the fee in those conditions, at least EUR 50 (or the foreign currency equivalent) per person per cancellation, on your express request. If you do not show up and the flight is not cancelled in time, you lose that choice and only the unused taxes and fees are refunded. If you partly use an award, taxes, fees and partner surcharges are only partly refunded in line with the applicable fare conditions, and miles are not refunded.
