Southwest Pays 500 Rapid Rewards Points for a Burnout Quiz, Through December 10

Southwest will give you 500 Rapid Rewards points for taking its Burnout Quiz, and that is the whole transaction. No purchase, no card, no fare.

Take the quiz at airplanemode.southwest.com through 11:59 p.m. Central on December 10, 2026. You need to be an enrolled Rapid Rewards member, 18 or older, and a legal resident of the 50 states or D.C. It is one submission and one award per person and per Rapid Rewards account.

The fine print:

• Points generally arrive within seven days after Southwest completes its verification
• They do not count toward A-List, A-List Preferred or Companion Pass qualification, so status chasers can skip the math
• The promotion ends early if all 37,000,000 points are awarded

The same Enter Airplane Mode campaign also ran a second promotion, Notification Vacation, where members uploaded a screenshot of their homepage notifications for Rapid Rewards points, up to 10,000 per member. That one ended by 5:00 a.m. Central (6:00 a.m. Eastern) on October 12, 2026, so the quiz is the only piece still open.

The quiz is a small prize for a few minutes of clicking, which is the right size for something that costs nothing. Take it, let the points land in your account, and do not go out of your way for more than that.
