Etihad Guest and Southwest Rapid Rewards are linking up, with earning and redemption planned to start in Spring 2027. This is an airline to airline partnership, and it runs in both directions.
- Etihad Guest members earn Etihad Guest miles on eligible Southwest flights and redeem them across Southwest's U.S., Mexico, Central America and Caribbean network.
- Rapid Rewards members earn points on eligible Etihad flights and redeem them on Etihad's network.
It fits Southwest's wider plan to add international airline partners for earning and redeeming Rapid Rewards points in 2027.
Earning rates, award prices and the exact launch date have not been announced yet.
