Etihad Guest Adds Three New Airline Partners: STARLUX, Condor, and Bangkok Airways

Etihad Guest miles now book award flights on STARLUX, Condor, and Bangkok Airways, adding new options across Asia, Europe, and beyond, just as Amex closed its Etihad transfer door.

Etihad Guest quietly added three new airline partners in August, so your Etihad miles now reach a lot more of the map, from a brand-new Taiwanese luxury carrier to European and Southeast Asian leisure routes.

  • STARLUX (the headliner): Bookable with Etihad miles since August 11. The new premium Taiwanese airline opens up US to Taiwan and Japan routing, plus Northeast and Southeast Asia. Full reciprocal benefits are expected in October.
  • Condor: The German leisure carrier adds routes across Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.
  • Bangkok Airways: Adds Southeast Asia coverage through its FlyerBonus network.
  • How pricing works: Etihad prices partner awards on a single distance-based chart, the same rate no matter which airline flies it, which can be a genuine bargain on shorter regional hops. Price out the specific route before you transfer.
  • How to get Etihad miles now: Since Amex stopped transferring to Etihad on June 30, 2026, the live paths are Capital One and Citi (1:1; Citi non-premium cards move at 1000:700), Bilt (1:1 on Rent Day), and Marriott Bonvoy (60,000 points becomes 25,000 miles plus a 5,000 bonus).
  • One caveat: More partners does not always mean more value. STARLUX is the exciting one; Condor and Bangkok Airways are useful mainly for coverage, so check the miles price before assuming they beat your other options.
