See all tools →JetBlue's domestic first class has stopped being a "coming soon" and started being something you can actually book. BlueFirst is on sale now at jetblue.com, with the first flights on December 8, 2026, Boston to Fort Lauderdale. It is built for routes that don't have Mint, and it does not replace Mint.
The rollout comes in waves. Fort Lauderdale to Washington Reagan and to New York LaGuardia start December 12, and JetBlue lists routes starting through February 4, 2027, with more coming soon. Austin to Boston begins January 28, 2027. BlueFirst may not run on every flight or date on a route, so confirm the exact flight before you book.
- The seat: 2x2 recliners with up to 7 inches more legroom than Main and up to 5 inches of recline, a 13.3 inch screen, free Wi-Fi and power.
- The food: a meal on flights of 899 miles or more.
- The perks: two free checked bags and no change or cancel fees, on BlueFirst and BlueFirst Flex fares only. No cancel fee is not the same as a cash refund, so check the fare rules for what you get back.
- TrueBlue: book it with points, or earn 3 base points plus 3 more for booking online per dollar on BlueFirst and BlueFirst Flex. The Base fare earns 1 plus 1.
Mosaic members get complimentary space available upgrades, but only from 60 minutes before departure, and not on Main Base or EvenMore Base fares. Treat that as a bonus, not a plan. Eligible Mosaic 4 members and JetBlue Premier Cardmembers get BlueHouse access when traveling in BlueFirst. Premier Cardmembers without Mosaic status must use their card to buy the travel.
