The change

Feb 1, 2027

Every change on this page starts that day.

The catch

1,000 points

The points pick before Mosaic falls from 5,000 per milestone. Mosaic points picks are a separate, larger set.

Best for

Mosaic members

Free space available BlueFirst upgrades once it is flying, and a Perks You Pick you can use again.

Mosaic members get a free shot at BlueFirst, JetBlue's new domestic first class, which has not flown yet (the first flight is scheduled for December 8, 2026). From February 1, 2027, every Mosaic level gets complimentary upgrades into it. They are space available, so you get the seat only when one is open.

The same day brings other changes:

  • Perks You Pick repeats. At each milestone before Mosaic and each Mosaic level, you choose again, even a perk you picked before. You have 60 days to choose or the selection expires.
  • A smaller points pick before Mosaic. It falls from 5,000 to 1,000 per milestone, up to 4,000 in all. A new 2-Tile Bonus pick, taken at every milestone, cuts the tiles you need for Mosaic 1 by 8.
  • Mosaic points picks. 10,000 at Mosaic 1 and 2, 20,000 at Mosaic 3, 30,000 at Mosaic 4. Mosaic 1 was 15,000.
  • One-time passes. Early Boarding, Alcoholic Drink and Priority Security become single use passes for your next eligible flight. The 2X points on JetBlue Vacations pick retires, usable through January 31, 2027.

Premier cardmembers at Mosaic 3 or 4 earn 5X on groceries and restaurants on up to $50,000 a year, and Move to Mint certificates become Premium Upgrade Certificates good for Mint or BlueFirst.
