Hawaiian Airlines became the 16th member of the oneworld alliance on April 23, 2026, and the third US-based member. If you hold miles in a oneworld program, that is a new set of flights to earn them on.
Atmos Rewards, the Alaska and Hawaiian program, gets the other half of the deal: its members can now earn and redeem across oneworld's global network, and members of other oneworld programs can earn miles on Hawaiian flights.
Hawaiian also adds Pacific stops to the oneworld map, including Hilo, Rarotonga, Pago Pago and Papeete, and oneworld Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members get reciprocal status and lounge benefits on Hawaiian flights.
No deadline to worry about here: this is a permanent alliance membership, not a promo.
