Mastercard Elite Perks Roundup

Your World or World Elite Mastercard quietly includes two months of free Instacart+, a monthly Peacock discount, and often cell phone protection. Here is how to turn them on.

Your credit card's network hands you perks that have nothing to do with miles or points, and most people never turn them on. If you carry a World or World Elite Mastercard, here are the ones worth a few minutes right now.

Two months of free Instacart+

World, World Elite, and World Legend Mastercard holders who are new to Instacart+ get two months free, which means no delivery fee on orders over $35, plus $10 off your second order each month.

  • Who: new Instacart+ members with an eligible Mastercard
  • Deadline: enroll by January 31, 2027
  • How: add your Mastercard in your Instacart account and activate the offer

$3 a month off Peacock

World Elite and World Legend Mastercard holders get a $3 monthly statement credit toward Peacock Premium or Premium Plus.

  • Who: cardholders not already subscribed to Peacock Premium
  • Deadline: through December 31, 2027
  • How: subscribe to Peacock directly with the card, and the credit posts each month

More to check on your card

Beyond those two, many World Elite Mastercards also include cell phone protection, which reimburses a damaged or stolen phone up to around $800 per claim when you pay your monthly bill with the card. It is not on every card, so confirm yours before you rely on it.

Mastercard also layers on concierge service, hotel and travel guarantees, and Priceless experiences, but the exact lineup depends on whether your card is World, World Elite, or World Legend and on the bank that issued it. The fastest way to see your real list is your card's benefits page or the Mastercard benefits site.

The honest catch

  • The Instacart+ and Peacock offers are for new subscribers only
  • The Peacock benefit is a monthly statement credit, not a free subscription
  • Instacart+ and Peacock are two separate perks, not a bundle
  • Cell phone protection and the travel benefits vary by issuer, so do not assume every World Elite card has them

These will not change your travel game, but they are essentially free money sitting on a card you already carry. Turn on the ones your card offers before the windows close.
