Wyndham Is Auctioning Penn State Football Club Seats for Points

Picture a Saturday at Beaver Stadium with a private club to duck into and a pregame spread already waiting. Wyndham Rewards is auctioning club seats at two Penn State home games, Minnesota on Saturday, November 14 and Rutgers on Saturday, November 21, and you bid in Wyndham points.

Each game is its own auction. As of October 16, bidding starts at 40,000 points for each package, with no bids placed. The minimum bid increment is 2,500 points. Both are scheduled to close Thursday, October 22 at 8:00 PM EDT.

Each package includes two club level tickets for you and a guest in the Mt. Nittany Club, which has its own concessions and restrooms, plus entry to the Playfly Sports Corporate Hospitality Village, with all you can eat food and drinks before kickoff. Minnesota is Military Appreciation day and Rutgers is Senior Day. Kickoff times are still to be announced for both. Tickets arrive by email from WyndhamRewards@multiplier.co about 24 to 48 hours before the game, so keep an eye on your spam folder.

Bids and redemptions are final. If a bid comes in during the last five minutes, the auction automatically extends five minutes from that bid, and it closes once five minutes pass with no bids, so the 8:00 PM close is a scheduled time. Wyndham can also close an auction early or cancel it. The listing doesn't mention parking, travel or a hotel. And these seats are not for flipping: Wyndham prohibits reselling the tickets or passes. A transferred or sold ticket voids the win, and breaking that rule can lead to suspension or termination of your membership.

This suits a Penn State fan with Wyndham points to spare and one of those Saturdays open. If that is you, the bid button is on the Wyndham listing for each game.
