Enter to Win 100,000 United Miles and $1,000 in Lyft Rides, Free to Enter

United is running a sweepstakes that gives three winners miles plus Lyft ride credit, and entering costs nothing. The top prize is 100,000 MileagePlus miles and $1,000 in Lyft rides. Second place gets 50,000 miles and $500 in rides, and third gets 25,000 miles and $250 in rides.

You need two accounts: MileagePlus, which is free to join, and Lyft. Sign in on the entry page and link the two, and that is 1 entry. Each eligible Lyft ride adds 2 more, and so does each handwritten request you send by mail (postmarked by October 31 and received by November 5), up to 21 entries in all. Rides count only while MileagePlus is the rewards partner on your Lyft account, and the two accounts need to stay linked through October 31.

Online entries close at 11:59 p.m. Central on October 31, 2026. You must be 18 or older and a legal resident of the 50 states or D.C. The three winners are drawn at random on or about November 9, emailed at the address on their MileagePlus account within 48 hours, and given 72 hours to return their paperwork, which includes a publicity release. The odds depend on how many people enter.

The catch: only three people win, and linking your accounts lets United and Lyft share your information and use it to tailor offers to you. Winners pay taxes on the prize, and the Lyft credit works only in the Lyft app in the U.S. and cannot be turned into cash.
