See all tools →One decent dinner out can earn you 2,000 bonus miles if you are new to MileagePlus Dining. New means you create your first online account and link a valid credit or debit card between October 1 and November 2, 2026 (11:59 pm ET).
Then, within 30 days of joining, spend $50 or more in a single dine, tax and tip included, dining in at a participating restaurant or bar and paying with the linked card. Splitting it across visits does not count.
Two more steps decide whether the miles post. Complete a post-dine review within 30 days of the dine, and stay opted in to program emails and keep meeting the Select or VIP criteria until the bonus posts. Miles post about 15 days after the qualifying dine. Some restaurants limit rewards by day, visits or monthly spend, so check yours before you book the table.
