Your Amex Unlocks point.me Award Search for Free
Amex cardholders with Membership Rewards get free access to point.me's award-search tool, normally $129 a year, at amex.point.me.
If you carry an Amex card earning Membership Rewards, you're sitting on a free award-search tool that normally costs $129 a year. Amex partnered with point.me to give cardholders free access at amex.point.me, and it takes the pain out of finding points flights.
- What it does: Enter your route and dates once, and it shows which of your Amex transfer partners have award space and how many points you would need, cheapest first. No more checking United, ANA, and Air Canada one at a time.
- A real example: Want New York to Tokyo in business class? Instead of hunting airline by airline, point.me lays out every Amex partner with a seat on your dates, tells you the transfer path to use (say, Amex to ANA), and shows roughly how many points each option runs, side by side on one screen. You transfer only after you have found the seat, so your points never get stranded.
- How to get in: Go to amex.point.me and log in with your Amex account. No separate signup, no payment.
- The catch: The free version only searches Amex's transfer partners. point.me's full paid subscription (the $129 one) also folds in Chase, Citi, Capital One, Bilt, and more in one place.
- Who is eligible: U.S.-issued Amex cards with Membership Rewards. U.S. only for now.
