Qatar Privilege Club Experiences (Avios)

Redeem points for experiencesBid or buy with AviosMiddle East

The Privilege Club Collection is Qatar Airways' answer to "what else can I do with Avios besides flights?" - an online marketplace where members spend (or bid) Avios on VIP event tickets, fan experiences, and limited-edition memorabilia. Think Formula 1 Paddock Club, pitchside football, O2 concerts, and the occasional money-can't-quite-buy moment, all priced in points instead of cash.

What you can redeem for

Access leans heavily into Qatar Airways' sponsorship portfolio, sorted into two broad lanes:

  • Sports and leisure - Formula 1 Paddock Club VIP hospitality, pitchside and VIP football (Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, UEFA Champions League), rugby (United Rugby Championship), and cricket (Royal Challengers Bangalore). Mega events like the FIFA World Cup 2026 have also appeared.
  • Music and culture - VIP concert tickets, frequently at London's O2 Arena (past lineups have featured names like John Mayer, Depeche Mode, Liam Gallagher, and the Jonas Brothers).
  • Memorabilia and limited-edition items - signed and collectible merchandise tied to those same teams and events.

Inventory rotates constantly as Qatar's sponsorship calendar shifts, so the exact lineup changes month to month.

How it works

Two redemption mechanics live side by side on the Collection platform:

  • Buy now (fixed price) - listed for a set number of Avios; pay it and it's yours, first come first served.
  • Auction (bid) - you bid Avios against other members. The full bid amount is deducted and held in escrow; if you're outbid, it's refunded back to your account. An anti-sniping rule extends the clock by 60 seconds whenever a bid lands in the final minute. Win the auction and the Avios are spent - that part is binding.

Everything is points-only on the Collection itself (no points-or-cash split here), though Qatar separately lets you part-pay flights, upgrades, and Duty Free with Avios.

Who's eligible & how to access

Open to Privilege Club members, but you generally need to be the Main Member (the primary account holder) to bid on or buy experiences. There's no specific co-brand card or elite tier required to browse and redeem - any Avios balance gets you in. You'll need enough Avios to cover the buy-now price or place a competitive bid, and inventory/pricing can vary by region (the US, UK, and other storefronts list separately at collection.qatarairways.com).

Standout examples

Recurring headliners include Formula 1 Paddock Club VIP hospitality packages across the F1 season, and UEFA Champions League matchday packages with pitchside warmup viewing and Champions Club hospitality. Club football regularly features Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, and O2 Arena concert tickets have surfaced for major touring artists. Because these track Qatar's live sponsorships, treat any specific listing as a rotating drop rather than a permanent fixture.

Good to know

Find inventory at collection.qatarairways.com (pick your region storefront). Auction bids are held in escrow and refunded if you're outbid, but a winning bid or buy-now purchase commits the Avios - assume completed redemptions are non-refundable unless a listing says otherwise. Availability is region-specific and heavily skewed toward Qatar-sponsored teams and venues, so the catalog reflects their deals, not the whole sports/music world. Many marquee experiences exclude flights and travel - read each listing for what's actually included.

Our take

It's one of the more genuinely interesting non-flight uses of Avios - real VIP access to F1, top-flight football, and arena concerts that are otherwise hard to get, with the flexibility to either lock in a fixed price or chase a deal at auction. Worth a look before your Avios just sit there, especially if a sponsored team or venue you already love shows up.
