The catch to know up front: flights must be booked through Southwest business channels (SWABIZ or a corporate travel partner) with your Rapid Rewards number attached, so ordinary leisure bookings on southwest.com do not count. Basic, Choice, Choice Preferred and Choice Extra fares qualify. Reward flights, Getaways and Companion Pass travel do not.
Registration is required, and it comes first: flights booked before you register do not count. A-List Preferred members are generally not eligible, so check your promotion terms.
