Hyatt Stays Can Earn Aeroplan Points on Top of Hyatt Points

Got a Hyatt stay on the calendar before mid February? Link your World of Hyatt and Aeroplan accounts and register by November 11, 2026, and your eligible stays earn 1.5 Aeroplan points per eligible U.S. dollar on top of the Hyatt points you were already collecting.

• Register first. Only stays you complete after you register count, so sign up before your next trip, not after.
• Finish by February 14, 2027. The stay window runs well past the registration deadline.
• Where it works: participating Hyatt hotels worldwide.
• How it earns: 1.5 Aeroplan points for each dollar spent on an eligible rate, not a multiple of your base Hyatt points, so check that your rate qualifies when you book. The stay has to earn Hyatt points, or Aeroplan points in place of them. Take another partner's points instead, an airline for example, and that stay does not qualify.

Give your World of Hyatt number at booking or on property before checkout, and know that only the room you occupy counts. Allow up to 8 weeks after the stay for the points to post. They do not count toward Aeroplan status.

This is separate from Aeroplan's standing option to take 500 Aeroplan points per stay instead of Hyatt points. This promotion adds to your Hyatt points rather than replacing them.

It fits best on a stay you already have planned, not as a reason to book a new one.
