Flying Blue is reportedly raising what it costs to earn XP through Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and charitable contributions. According to published reports, the new rate is 15 euros per XP, up from 10 euros per XP, and it is now due to begin on December 1, 2026.
The higher rate reportedly took effect on November 2 without advance notice, and Flying Blue paused it, with the previous rate applying from November 4. Flying Blue said, according to published reports, that SAF and charitable contributions earn XP at the previous rate for now, and that any contribution made since November 2 is credited at the prior rate as well.
If a SAF or charitable contribution is part of your plan to reach the next status level, reports say each XP costs the previous rate until December 1.
