Bilt Changes How Bilt Cash, Hotel Credits and Rent Rewards Work in 2027

Bilt is reworking its rewards for 2027, and the biggest moves land on Bilt Cash and the hotel credit.

Bilt Cash gets a clock. It now expires at the end of the month, 12 months after you earn it, instead of on December 31.

Hotels with Bilt Cash goes from monthly to twice a year starting January 1, 2027. Each time, you can use up to:

• $50 on Blue and Silver ($100 a year)
• $100 on Gold and Platinum ($200 a year)
• $200 on Palladium ($400 a year)

Before, the limit was $50 or $100 a month.

Flexible Bilt Cash, the 4% Bilt Cash mode, is being retired, and cardholders earn up to 1.25X points on rent or mortgage. If you are a current cardholder and want to keep Flexible Bilt Cash, opt out in your settings before your card anniversary, and know you cannot switch back and forth. New cardholders in 2027 get housing-only rewards.

Annual credits move to your card anniversary. Palladium's $200 Bilt Cash and $400 hotel credit become one $600 Bilt Cash credit, and Obsidian's $100 hotel credit becomes $100 Bilt Cash.

Daily Rewards start January 15, 2027: each on-time rent or mortgage payment, plus one daily neighborhood activity, earns a Daily Reward. Point multipliers stay the same.
