Wyndham Rewards Experiences

Redeem points for experiencesFrom 2,500 pointsUS

Wyndham Rewards Experiences is the hotel program's entertainment portal, where your Wyndham points buy concert seats, festival passes, and sports tickets instead of free nights. It runs two ways: fixed-price "Redeem Now" tickets you grab outright, and live auctions where members bid points and the highest bid wins. Think of it as a second exit ramp for points you might otherwise sit on - no status or special card required.

What you can redeem for

The lineup leans hard into live entertainment and sports:

  • Concerts - big-name arena shows and Madison Square Garden runs (recent featured artists have included Harry Styles suite tickets, Phish, and Rush)
  • Music festivals - full-weekend and VIP passes to events like Outside Lands, Ohana, and Shaky Knees
  • Sports - MLB and Minor League Baseball ticket vouchers, plus PGA Tour access around the Wyndham Championship; past drops have included money-can't-buy extras like riding the Zamboni at a Rangers game
  • VIP and access perks - backstage tours, suite seating, and merch bundles attached to select packages

Inventory is bundled into themed groups (for example "Music Festivals" or "Madison Square Garden Concerts") and rotates constantly.

How it works

Two redemption mechanics, side by side:

  • Redeem Now (fixed price) - a set point cost, guaranteed as long as it's in stock and you have the points. Fixed-point rewards start as low as 2,500 points.
  • Bid (auction) - you bid points on a single package and the highest bid at close wins. Starting bids run roughly 20,000 to 100,000 points. You can set a confidential max bid and the system auto-bids for you in increments; points are only deducted if you win. An "Auto Bid Extend" feature pushes the close out five more minutes whenever a bid lands in the final five, so last-second sniping is blunted.

Short on points? Wyndham will nudge you to buy more - which is exactly when to slow down and do the math.

Who's eligible & how to access

Open to any Wyndham Rewards member - no elite tier, co-brand card, or invite required. You just need a Wyndham Rewards account and enough points in it before you bid or redeem. Sign in at wyndhamrewardsexperiences.wyndhamrewards.com with your normal Wyndham Rewards credentials.

Standout examples

Recent featured drops have included Harry Styles suite tickets at Madison Square Garden, full-weekend and VIP passes to Outside Lands and Ohana music festivals, MSG concert runs for Phish and Rush, and a large batch of Minor League Baseball ticket vouchers tied to a summer promotion. The program has also surfaced genuine money-can't-buy items in the past, like VIP tickets to a sold-out Vans Warped Tour with a backstage tour, and riding the Zamboni at a New York Rangers home game. Specific inventory rotates - what's live this week won't be the same next month.

Good to know

Auctions are binding - win the bid and the points come out of your account automatically, so don't bid on anything you wouldn't actually attend. Inventory is US-centric (events are overwhelmingly in the States) and changes weekly, so check back often and browse the "Featured Bundles" groupings to find what's live. Fixed-price items are first-come and can sell out. Refund and transfer terms are set per package in the portal's Terms & Conditions, and tickets are generally treated as final once redeemed - read the fine print on each listing before committing. Points can be purchased if you're short, but buying points to chase a redemption is rarely a good deal.

Our take

It's a legitimately useful escape hatch for Wyndham points, especially if you earn them faster than you burn them on hotels - the access angle (suites, festivals, VIP) and the points-or-bid flexibility are real. Just go in with a redemption you actually want, since auctions are binding and buying points to win one erodes the value fast.
