Marriott Bonvoy Moments

Redeem points for experiencesFrom 1 point (1-Point Drops)Global

Marriott Bonvoy Moments is the brand's experiences marketplace - the place to spend Bonvoy points (or sometimes cash) on things you can't just book, like VIP concert access, courtside seats, chef's-table dinners, and once-in-a-lifetime sporting events. Some packages are sold at a fixed price, others go to the highest bidder in a points auction, and a handful drop for as little as 1 point if you're fast. Open to any Bonvoy member, with a steady stream of new inventory tied to whatever's on the global events calendar.

What you can redeem for

The catalog is organized into four core categories:

  • Culinary - chef's-table dinners, tastings, festivals, and epicurean experiences (e.g. sake tastings, VIP food festival access with meet-and-greets).
  • Arts & Lifestyle - premieres, galas, cultural excursions, and exclusive lifestyle events.
  • Sports - VIP access, hospitality packages, and athlete meet-and-greets at major events (FIFA World Cup 2026, ICC Women's T20 World Cup, motorsport at Silverstone/Spielberg).
  • Entertainment - concerts, music festivals, and private performances, often bundled with hotel stays.

Many packages bundle the experience with multi-night stays at Marriott properties. There's also a separate MGM Collection of entertainment and sporting Moments.

How it works

Three redemption mechanics run side by side:

  • Fixed price - a set number of points (or in some markets points-or-cash), deducted instantly, first-come first-served while packages last.
  • Auction - highest bid at close wins. Bids are in 2,500-point increments; you can place a single one-time bid or set a max and let it auto-bid. Auctions typically run 15-30 days. All bids are binding - you can't lower or cancel.
  • 1-Point Drops - select Moments released for just 1 point, first-come first-served, very limited quantity. One 1-Point package per member per calendar year.

You can redeem up to two packages for the same Moment. All redemptions are final.

Who's eligible & how to access

Open to any Marriott Bonvoy member - no elite status or specific co-brand card required. You just sign in with your Bonvoy account to bid or buy, and you need at least 1 point in your account before a 1-Point Drop redemption. Some individual Moments are gated to specific cardholders or regions (the scrape shows an "Amex Card Member Exclusive for Japan Cardholders Only" listing, and FIFA World Cup 2026 access is presented "thanks to Visa"), but the platform overall is membership-wide.

Standout examples

Inventory rotates constantly, but recent live and upcoming listings show the range: VIP access to All Points East festival in London via a 1-Point Drop; Celine Dion premium hospitality tickets in Paris paired with Renaissance hotel stays (auction); a sake tasting with Kuheiji Kuno plus a Kobe beef dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka; hospitality tickets to the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 final at Lord's; and a private Amber Mark concert with rooftop cocktails and a meet-and-greet at Moxy Lower East Side. Marriott is also offering access to all 104 FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.

Good to know

Everything is final - no refunds, no cancellations, and Moments are not transferable (reselling can forfeit both the experience and your points). Auction bids are binding the moment you place them. Inventory is geographically clustered (lots of US, UK, Europe, and Asia listings; you search by city or keyword), so the best Moments aren't always near you, and travel/stays are sometimes but not always bundled in. You can buy Bonvoy points to top up for a redemption. Browse by category or use the location search on the Moments site to find what's currently live, plus "Coming Soon" and "Ending Soon" rails.

Our take

Worth knowing because it's genuine money-can't-buy access - VIP festival entry, World Cup matches, private concerts - that you literally cannot book any other way, and the points-or-cash flexibility plus 1-point drops make it an easy way to use a Bonvoy balance on an experience instead of a room night. Just go in clear-eyed: bids and buys are binding, so only commit to a Moment you'd actually travel for.
