Emirates Skywards Exclusives
Skywards Exclusives is Emirates' experiences marketplace where you spend (or bid) Skywards Miles instead of cash on the airline's massive sponsorship portfolio - think Wimbledon, Formula One Paddock Club, Arsenal hospitality and the odd money-can't-buy moment. You either Buy Now at a fixed Miles price or throw your hat in a SkyBid auction. It's a genuinely fun way to burn Miles you'd otherwise sit on, as long as you go in knowing the catches.
What you can redeem for
Curated experiences pulled from Emirates' global sponsorships, redeemable with Miles:
- Sports across 11 disciplines - football, motorsports (F1), tennis, cricket, rugby, golf, horseracing, baseball, sailing, cycling and Aussie Rules - from general-admission tickets to VIP hospitality suites
- Concerts and live performances at venues like Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena
- Money-can't-buy experiences and exclusive VIP invitations
- Signed memorabilia - jerseys and balls from legendary clubs
- Inventory rotates: Emirates says roughly 48 events were offered across the prior 12 months
How it works
Two redemption mechanics on exclusives.skywards.com or the Emirates App:
- Buy Now - a fixed Miles price; your Miles are debited instantly in exchange for the listed item.
- Auctions (SkyBid) - you bid Miles against other members. A maximum-bid feature auto-bids in increments to keep you in the lead up to a cap you set, even while offline. If anyone bids in the final 60 seconds, the clock extends another 60 seconds until activity stops.
Winning bidder pays at auction close - the winning Miles amount is deducted automatically, and you must have sufficient Miles in your account at that moment.
Who's eligible & how to access
Open to any enrolled Emirates Skywards member aged 18+ who agrees to the Programme Rules - no minimum elite tier to use the platform generally. That said, individual listings can carry tier restrictions: some premium experiences are reserved for Gold and Platinum members, and a handful for Platinum only. No co-brand credit card is required.

Good to know
Miles redemptions here are non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-transferable, and items are non-exchangeable with no cash alternative - so be sure before you commit. Auction bids are final the second you submit them: they can't be withdrawn or lowered, and the anti-snipe 60-second extension means a "closing" auction can run on. Inventory is event-driven and geographically skewed toward Emirates' sponsorship calendar (heavy UK, Europe and UAE), so US-based members may find fewer local options. Our take
It's one of the more interesting non-flight uses of Miles - real access to events and hospitality you can't easily buy, with the flexibility to spend Miles instead of cash. Worth a look before your Miles expire, just go in clear-eyed: redemptions are binding and inventory leans toward Emirates' sponsorship cities.
