WestJet Rewards raises the qualifying spend for Silver, Gold and Platinum in 2027 and lifts the Status Lifts maximum to 75. Members who hit a tier threshold in 2026 keep that tier through 2027.

Earning WestJet Rewards status in 2027 takes more spending. Effective January 1, 2027, qualifying spend rises for every tier:

Silver: 5,000 in qualifying spend, up from 4,000
Gold: 8,000 in qualifying spend, up from 6,000
Platinum: 15,000 in qualifying spend, up from 10,000

Reach the 2026 qualifying spend requirement by December 31, 2026, and you receive that tier's benefits throughout 2027. Tier qualifying spend earned during 2027 determines your status for 2028.

The maximum number of Status Lifts increases to 75, up from 50 in 2026.
