The 100% bonus on Turkish Miles&Smiles miles is real, but it takes one purchase of 250,001 miles or more to get it. Through October 15, 2026, the extra miles you earn depend on the size of a single transaction:
- 50,000 to 100,000 miles: 25% extra
- 100,001 to 250,000 miles: 50% extra
- 250,001 to 500,000 miles: 100% extra
The ladder starts at 50,000 miles, so smaller purchases earn no bonus. Every transaction is rated on its own and separate purchases cannot be combined: buy 50,000 and then 75,000 in two orders and each earns 25%.
Timing is the part to plan around. Turkish credits the extra miles within 7 days after the campaign ends, not when you buy, so only the purchased miles are in your account on the day you book. Neither the purchased miles nor the extra miles count as status miles, and purchased miles cannot be refunded. During the campaign you can buy up to 500,000 miles in a calendar year.
Buy through the Turkish Airlines website or app, signed in to Miles&Smiles, under Miles Transactions. Price the award you want first and buy only what you will book.
