SAS EuroBonus Status Match Now Open to Elites at Dozens of Other Airlines

Hold elite status with American, United, Alaska or JetBlue and want some on a European airline too? SAS EuroBonus is taking status matches from 84 airlines, run by an independent status match service, not by SAS, which says it works in cooperation with EuroBonus. The United States is on the eligible residence list, so US members can apply.

There is no flight challenge. The service charges a fee of EUR 89, 199 or 349, which varies by tier, and the match lasts for the rest of the current EuroBonus year plus 12 months. The service says approval takes about three days.

The limits are plain. A match cannot extend a tier you already hold. SkyTeam airlines, Singapore Airlines, TAP and Etihad are excluded, and so are residents of China, Brazil, Argentina, Hong Kong and Taiwan. No end date is published, and the service says matches are quota limited, so check availability before you plan around it.
