Only eight currencies make the cut. The Maybank Horizon Visa Signature, issued in Singapore, earns the equivalent of 3.2 miles per S$1 (S$ means Singapore dollars) on retail spend posted in MYR, IDR, THB, HKD, TWD, RMB, KRW and JPY, from November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027, both dates included. These are TREATS Points converted at 0.4 miles per point, not automatic airline miles.

  • Minimum spend: S$800 of retail spend on the card in a calendar month, in any currency. Local spend on insurance, medical, education, rentals and professional services does not count toward the S$800, and Maybank's general rewards terms exclude more, so check the terms.
  • Other foreign currencies: foreign currency spend outside the eight earns the 2.8 miles per S$1 equivalent with the S$800, and foreign currency spend earns the 1.2 miles per S$1 equivalent without it. Those two figures are for foreign currency spend, not all purchases, and Maybank's card page says they apply only if you redeem on the Maybank TREATS SG app.
  • How points are counted: per S$5 block of each transaction, rounded down. Amounts in several transactions are not combined.
  • Fees: foreign currency transactions carry Maybank's 2.25% administrative fee plus a card association charge of up to 1%.

For foreigners, Maybank asks for an Employment Pass with at least 6 months of validity and proof of a Singapore residential address, plus income requirements.
