KrisFlyer and Accor: 50% Bonus Both Ways, Through September 30

Singapore Airlines is running a 50% bonus in both directions between KrisFlyer miles and Accor ALL Reward points, through 30 September.

• Accor to KrisFlyer: 2,000 ALL points becomes 1,500 miles instead of 1,000. Conversions only happen in blocks of 2,000
• KrisFlyer to Accor: 4,500 miles becomes 1,500 ALL points instead of 1,000. Minimum 4,500 miles, capped at 180,000 miles a year
• Bonus ALL points land within 7 business days. Bonus miles do not arrive until 30 October, a month after the promo closes

Only one of those directions is worth your time. Accor to KrisFlyer is the good trade and KrisFlyer to Accor is not close: 4,500 airline miles buys 1,500 Accor points, and Accor points are fixed at a small, known value while KrisFlyer miles can book Singapore's own premium cabins.

The catch for most US readers is earning the Accor points in the first place. Accor's US footprint is thin and few US cards feed it, so this mostly matters if you already hold a balance from stays in Europe or Asia. If you do, and you have been sitting on ALL points with nothing to spend them on, this is the best exchange rate the partnership offers.
