Citi ThankYou to Leaders Club: 25% Transfer Bonus Through September 19

Here is a transfer bonus that rewards people who already know where they want to sleep. Citi is adding 25% to ThankYou transfers into Leaders Club until September 19. Leaders Club is the program for Leading Hotels of the World, which covers places like Le Sirenuse in Positano, Violino d'Oro in Venice and The Okura Tokyo.

• Premium Citi cards (Strata Elite, Strata Premier, Prestige, AT&T Access More): 1,000 ThankYou points become 250 Leaders Club points with the bonus, up from the usual 200.
• Other ThankYou cards (Strata, Double Cash, Custom Cash, ThankYou Preferred, ThankYou Mastercard, AT&T Access and other AT&T cards): 1,000 become 175, up from 140.
• The transfer must be completed by 11:59 PM ET on September 19, 2026. No registration, but the names on both accounts have to match.
• Minimum 1,000 points, in 1,000 point increments.

Transfer times vary, and only a completed transfer counts, so don't leave it to the last day. Free nights start at around 4,000 points and move with each hotel's published room rate that day, so there is no chart to plan around. Price your dates with "View with Points" on LHW.com, or call LHW reservations, and move points only once the room is there. Points expire 24 months after your last earn or redeem.

A little short? LHW is also selling points with a bonus through September 25: 50% more on 2,000 to 11,000 points, 75% more on 12,000 to 29,000, and 100% more on 30,000 to 75,000.

The base rate is thin, so this bonus only earns its keep when a property and dates are already picked out. Check the price in points first, then transfer. If you also hold Amex Membership Rewards, 1,000 points already move to Leaders Club as 250 on any day, no bonus required.
