If you had Free Spirit status when Spirit shut down, this isn't a consolation prize. JetBlue's matching Silver to Mosaic 1 and Gold to Mosaic 2, and the benefits kick in immediately once your account is updated.

What qualifies:

• Eligibility: Legal U.S. residents with an existing TrueBlue account who hold Spirit Free Spirit Silver or Gold status (matched, transferred, or promotional elite status from other airlines does not qualify)
• Status match: Free Spirit Silver → Mosaic 1; Free Spirit Gold → Mosaic 2
• Matched status validity: 3 months from when status posts to your account
• Documentation — Mosaic 1: Screenshot of your frequent flyer profile showing your full name and proof of status
• Documentation — Mosaic 2: Same as Mosaic 1, plus a screenshot or photo of your most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing your status
• Processing time: Up to four weeks
• Challenge to extend: Earn 10 tiles (Mosaic 1) or 25 tiles (Mosaic 2) within the 3-month challenge period to extend status through the end of the following calendar year (tiles can come from JetBlue travel spend, JetBlue co-brand card spend, or purchased tiles — gifted tiles don't count)
• Perks You Pick: Not available during the challenge period — perks are pre-selected
• Repeat eligibility: Must wait 24 months from your original challenge start date before participating in another challenge
• Exclusions: JetBlue may decline or revoke a match for suspected abuse, fraud, or misuse

Mosaic 1 gets you priority boarding, priority security, dedicated check-in, one free checked bag for you and eligible companions, same-day switches with no fee or fare difference starting 24 hours before departure, and EvenMore upgrade consideration at check-in for you and up to two companions. Mosaic 2 adds a second free checked bag, EvenMore seat selection at booking (for you and up to two companions when available), Mint Suite Priority, and a pet fee waiver. The 10-tile bar for Mosaic 1 is low — one or two paid JetBlue flights typically covers it. Mosaic 2's 25-tile requirement takes more intent, but if you're flying JetBlue regularly out of Fort Lauderdale this summer, it's reachable.
