Amex is running a 30% transfer bonus to Avios across British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus through September 27, its first real Avios bonus in about a year.
- The rate: 1,000 Membership Rewards points become 1,300 Avios. US cardmembers only.
- All three Avios programs qualify: British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus share one Avios balance.
- The play right now: Avios book Qatar Airways Qsuite business class, so you can stack this bonus with the current Qatar Avios award sale for an even cheaper seat.
- Transfer only with a booking in mind: points sitting in an airline program lose flexibility, so scope the award first.
- Ends September 27, 2026 (11:59pm Mountain Time).
