The US Open Is On: Free Fan Week, Plus Chase and Amex Lounges

The US Open runs through September 13 in New York, and there are easy wins right now: free Fan Week this week, plus member lounges if you hold Chase or Amex.

• Free Fan Week, now through Aug 29: qualifying, player practices (Gauff, Shelton, Zverev this week), Arthur Ashe Kids' Day, and Fountain Plaza performances are all free. New for 2026, every adult needs a free Fan Access Pass to get in. Anyone can register, no card required, at fanpass.usopen.org. Entry is rolling and capacity-based, so go early.
• Chase Lounge (Chase customers): free during Fan Week from 11am to 2pm (Aug 24 to 28), first come first served. During the main draw it needs a reservation, released daily at 9am ET on ChaseGetsYouCloser.com for the next day's sessions, and it fills fast. Inside: a matcha bar, light bites, mobile charging, AC, and live tennis.
• Chase Terrace (the easier option): also at the Grandstand, with shaded seating and views of Courts 8 to 10. No reservation needed, just show your Chase card. Open 11am to 5pm during Fan Week (Aug 24 to 28) and 10am to 8pm for main draw Sessions 1 to 18.
• Free mobile charging for everyone: borrow a complimentary charger under the Chase Lounge or at any ChargeFuze station on the grounds. Heads up: there is a $40 charge for any charger not returned by the end of the day.
• Amex Card Members: the Card Member Lounge (you plus two guests) sits on the second level of the Amex Fan Experience near the main entry, and the Fan Experience is open to all ticketed fans. Platinum and Centurion Members also get The Centurion Lounge inside Louis Armstrong Stadium, with light bites, cold drinks, and a gift. Those reservations are same-day and tight: they release on Resy at 9:30am ET daily starting Aug 30, are not searchable, and require your Platinum or Centurion card on your Resy profile.
• The $10 back Amex offer: enroll an eligible US-issued consumer or business Amex card for $10 back after you spend $100 on merchandise and concessions during the main draw (Aug 30 to Sept 13, not valid during Fan Week). To enroll, download the US Open app and tap the Amex icon, or visit any Amex location on the grounds. Add the offer to your card first, then pay with that same card. Prepaid, corporate, and debit cards are not eligible.
• The move: register for the free Fan Access Pass now to catch Fan Week, and if you hold Chase or Amex, lock your lounge reservation before your session.
