Rakuten has its referral bonus at $50 for both people, and the promo window closes at 11:59 PM PT on September 30. Send a friend your referral link, they join, and once they spend $50 you each get $50 in cash back.
The terms are simple enough to fit in four lines:
- You earn $50 for every friend who qualifies, with no cap on referrals.
- Your friend earns $50 as a new member during the promo.
- To qualify, the new member spends at least $50 in qualifying purchases within 90 days of joining.
- The bonus is set to post within 60 days of that qualifying purchase, added to your next Cash Back payment.
Returns, cancellations, or purchases that earn no cash back void it, so a $50 order that goes back to the store does not count.
Rakuten rotates this amount, and it has run as low as $10, so $50 is the high end of its usual range.
