iPrefer Hotels: $50 per Stay, Up to $250, Register by August 31, 2026

Boutique and independent hotels rarely come with a loyalty kicker. This summer iPrefer is adding one: $50 back per qualifying stay, up to $250. Register for iPrefer's Stay. Reward. Repeat. promotion, complete at least two nights at a participating Preferred Hotels property, and a $50 reward certificate lands in your account within 7 business days of checkout. Do that at five different hotels by August 31 and you're looking at $250 in certificates good through December 31, 2026.

What qualifies:

• Status: iPrefer membership required (free to join)
• Registration: required before your first qualifying stay (stays completed before registration don't count)
• Booking window: reservations must be made on or after May 5, 2026 (reservations made before the promotion period are excluded even if the stay dates fall within it)
• Travel window: stays must be completed by August 31, 2026
• Minimum stay: 2 consecutive nights on one reservation
• Eligible hotels: up to 5 distinct properties (repeat stays at the same hotel during the promotion period do not earn a second certificate)
• Certificate value: $50 per qualifying stay, up to $250 total
• Posting: certificates issued within 7 business days of departure
• Certificate expiry: December 31, 2026
• Excluded: award/redemption stays and stays booked before May 5, even if travel falls within the window

This promotion pays off only if you're already planning to stay at Preferred Hotels properties this summer, not as a reason to go out and book five new hotels from scratch. The certificates are usable at any participating property, so they carry real value if your travel naturally skews toward independent and boutique hotels that don't show up in a Marriott or Hyatt search. One note on transfers: Capital One transfers to iPrefer at 1:2, and Citi moved to 1:2 as of April 19, 2026 (down from 1:4 before). Either way, those flexible points almost always go further toward an airline redemption. Don't move anything over just to chase the promotion.
