Marriott Bonvoy and Japan Airlines just linked arms, and your status now pulls double duty. Connect the two accounts and each program starts rewarding the other.

Got Bonvoy status? You'll earn JAL FLY ON Points every year just for holding it: 5,000 at Silver, 10,000 at Gold, 20,000 at Platinum, 30,000 at Titanium, 40,000 at Ambassador. Titanium and Ambassador also land JAL Crystal status or higher outright. (Even a status-free Bonvoy member banks 2,000 a year.)

Fly JAL instead? Your Mileage Bank status buys Marriott status: Sapphire gets complimentary Silver, JGC Premier gets complimentary Gold, and Diamond gets Gold plus a fast track to Platinum with a few qualifying nights.
