Bilt Rent Day, October 1: Hilton and Amtrak Transfer Bonuses, and the Hilton Status a Transfer Unlocks

Bilt's October Rent Day runs October 1 only, with transfer bonuses to Hilton Honors and Amtrak Guest Rewards. For most members the bonuses are a pass on the points math, since whether they pay off depends on the specific award you have in mind. The real draw is the status: a qualifying Hilton transfer during the promo also earns you Hilton status, a genuine sweetener if you were already moving points for a Hilton booking.

• Hilton bonus by Bilt tier: Blue 75 percent, Silver 100 percent, Gold 150 percent, Platinum 175 percent, or 200 percent if Platinum buys up for $400 in Bilt Cash. Applies on up to 100,000 Bilt points, in 1,000 point increments.
• Amtrak bonus by tier: Blue 25 percent, Silver 50 percent, Gold 75 percent, Platinum 100 percent, with a 125 percent buy up for $400. Same cap and increments.
• Hilton status with a qualifying transfer, through December 31, 2026: Blue and Silver get Hilton Silver, Gold gets Hilton Gold, Platinum gets Hilton Diamond. It is tied to making that transfer, not automatic.

Nights take it further: 6 qualifying nights by December 31, 2026 upgrade Silver to Gold, and 12 nights upgrade Gold to Diamond or let a Platinum keep Diamond, holding status through March 2028. That status also unlocks Hilton's Fifth Night Free on an eligible five night Standard Room Reward booked entirely with points. It will not make every transfer worthwhile, but on the right booking it stretches the points you move.

Transfers are one way and final. Move points only for a specific Hilton booking you are ready to make, or an Amtrak trip you already have in mind and can see is available. The Hilton window closes 2:59am ET October 2, Amtrak 11:59pm PT October 1.
