JetBlue TrueBlue: Redeem Points on China Airlines Flights — Now Live

Taiwan and beyond just got a lot more reachable on TrueBlue points. JetBlue added reciprocal award redemptions with China Airlines on April 29, 2026 — TrueBlue members can now book China Airlines flights (including Taipei, Bangkok, Manila, and more) directly on jetblue.com, and Dynasty Flyer members can book JetBlue flights in return. Availability is constrained and redemption rates run on the pricier side, so check pricing carefully before you commit.

If Asia has been a stretch destination on TrueBlue points, this changes the map. JetBlue added China Airlines as a reciprocal redemption partner on April 29, 2026 — TrueBlue members can now book China Airlines-operated flights across its network, including Taipei, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, and Manila, directly on jetblue.com or the JetBlue app. Dynasty Flyer members get the same ability to book across JetBlue's network going the other direction.

The honest read: availability is constrained and pricing runs high compared to other Asia redemptions on the market. Before you move points, pull up actual award pricing on jetblue.com for your specific route and compare it against what you'd get via a partner like ANA Mileage Club or KrisFlyer on the same China Airlines metal. TrueBlue's revenue-based pricing means the cost in points scales directly with the cash fare — and China Airlines' long-haul premium cabins can get expensive. One upside: the JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard includes a 15% redemption rebate on partner award bookings including China Airlines, which softens the per-point cost meaningfully if you're a cardholder.

This is a legitimate expansion of what TrueBlue can do — JetBlue now has five confirmed redemption partners (United via Blue Sky, China Airlines, Etihad, Qatar, and Cape Air).
