Why this matters
Spontaneous Escapes is one of the easier ways to stretch KrisFlyer miles, since the 30% comes off already-reasonable Saver rates - several intra-Asia business-class hops land in the 15,000-18,000 mile range one-way after the discount. The catch: it is last-minute by design (July travel only), seats are limited, and Spontaneous Escapes awards cannot be changed or canceled once booked. Only grab one if your dates are firm.
