The Standard Brussels Joins World of Hyatt

Brussels just got a lot more interesting for Hyatt points. The Standard, Brussels is now part of World of Hyatt, adding one of the city's most design-forward hotels to the portfolio. Check award availability now — and if you're booking before May 20, you'll be pricing under the old three-tier chart.

Why this matters

The Standard, Brussels is now bookable on points through World of Hyatt. The Standard brand punches above its category price — design hotels at Hyatt rates are the move. Search availability now and stack any new-hotel bonus if your account shows one.

If Brussels has been on your list — Magritte museum, the Grand-Place, an excuse to eat your weight in moules-frites — there's now a cool place to put your Hyatt points. The Standard just joined the portfolio, and it's the kind of property that doesn't show up in a generic hotel search.

The timing matters. World of Hyatt's award chart flips on May 20, 2026, from a three-tier structure to five tiers — and the direction skews up, especially at higher-category properties. Book before May 20 and you're locking in under the current ceiling. After that, more dates push into Upper and Top pricing. Chase UR and Bilt both transfer to Hyatt at 1:1, so if you've been sitting on either currency: check the category, check the calendar, and book before the chart changes.

The Standard, Brussels is a Category 4 property — award nights run 12,000 points (off-peak) to 18,000 points per night. Log in to World of Hyatt, search the property directly, and lock in your dates before May 20.
