Aeromexico Rewards Award Sale — Economy and Business, Book by June 2

Aeromexico's award sale is running May 25–June 2, 2026 (nine days). Worth checking, with one important caveat baked in.

Since August 2025, most Aeromexico own-metal awards moved to dynamic pricing — and Aeromexico's past award sales have explicitly excluded dynamic-pricing awards. So this sale likely applies to the remaining fixed-chart inventory: SkyTeam partner redemptions on Delta, KLM, Air France, and other SkyTeam carriers booked through Aeromexico Rewards. Discount percentages and eligible routes are route-specific, so you'll need to log in and search to see what's live for your itinerary.

What qualifies:

• Booking window: May 25–June 2, 2026 (nine days total)
• Eligible cabin: Economy and business class on select routes
• Travel window: Route-specific (check individual itineraries when searching)
• Discount amount: Route-specific (past sales have run 30–40% off on select economy routes; no guarantee this one matches)
• Registration: Not required

Before you search, the transfer picture matters. Amex MR transfers to Aeromexico Rewards at 1:1.6 — 1,000 MR yields 1,600 Aeromexico Points. Capital One Miles transfer in at 1:1. One partnership that's off the table: Citi ThankYou ended January 25, 2026. If you were counting on it, check your other balances now.

Heads-up on timing: Amex MR → Aeromexico transfers are typically near-instant but Amex's official window is up to 24 hours. Capital One can take longer. Don't initiate a transfer assuming you'll book the same hour.

Aeromexico is a SkyTeam member with its hub at Mexico City (MEX) — partner-award routings through SkyTeam tend to be where the sweet spots live, especially since the dynamic-pricing shift erased most of Aeromexico's own-metal redemption value. Book if a specific route comes back materially discounted and you've got the points to cover it. Skip it if pricing doesn't look meaningfully lower than the base rate, or if your itinerary is on an own-metal route that's still dynamically priced.
