EVA Air is selling Infinity MileageLands miles with up to a 40% bonus (on purchases of 36,000 or more) through August 5, 2026, which can help close the gap toward a Royal Laurel business award to Taipei (about 75,000 to 80,000 miles one-way from the US). Two important catches before you buy: EVA lets purchased miles cover only up to half of any award, so you still need a real earned balance, and the miles are non-refundable. In most cases transferring is the better move anyway, since Capital One's current 30% bonus (through July 31) or Citi ThankYou at 1:1 can top you up without buying. Only buy if you have EVA award space confirmed and cannot get there by transfer.
