Qatar Airways Privilege Club made its My List easier to start, and it is a small win worth pocketing. My List is the feature that lets you share your Avios with people you pick, and until now Qatar made you earn your way in first with a qualifying flight or the Qatar Airways credit card. That hoop is gone.
The change took effect September 14, 2026.
The old rule mostly punished the people it should have been courting, members with Avios in the account who had not flown Qatar lately. Now the only bar is an active Privilege Club account that is at least 30 days old. A My List lets you move Avios to a spouse or a friend so they can book a Qatar or BA award without waiting on you to transfer.
The rest of the rules are unchanged. A list holds up to four people, everyone you add must be 18 or older, and each person stays locked for six months, so choose people you actually share travel with, not placeholders.
If you have Avios sitting in Qatar, this is finally worth setting up, especially if someone in your circle books awards more often than you do.
