Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business: The Edit credit doubles to $1,000 in 2027

Chase is doubling The Edit credit on the Sapphire Reserve for Business, from $500 a year to $1,000, starting January 1, 2027. The Edit is Chase Travel's luxury hotel program, and the bigger credit only lands on the business card. The consumer Sapphire Reserve does not get it, so this is one perk where the business version genuinely pulls ahead. Employee cardholders are not eligible for the Edit credit.

The mechanics are worth knowing before you count on the full amount:

• $1,000 a year, paid as four credits of up to $250, up from two $250 credits in 2026, resetting each calendar year.
• $250 maximum per transaction, so no single booking clears the whole credit at once.
• Each stay has to be two nights or longer and prepaid with Pay Now through Chase Travel.

To use the full $1,000 you need at least four qualifying transactions, each a prepaid Edit stay of two nights or more, and the credits do not combine, so a booking under $250 loses the rest of that credit. Check the Chase Travel price against what you would otherwise pay before you treat it as savings. If Edit hotels already fit your plans it is useful money; if you would book pricier stays just to use it, the headline number overstates what you gain.

Not every change here is an upgrade. Starting November 15, 2026, the card earns 3 points per dollar on the first $1 million in eligible social media and search engine advertising purchases each account anniversary year, then 1 point per dollar. If you run real ad budgets on this card, plan around that ceiling before it arrives.
