The refreshed Citi AAdvantage Executive card is offering 125,000 American AAdvantage miles, the biggest bonus we've tracked on it, though it now carries a heftier annual fee you should weigh honestly before you apply.

• The offer: 125,000 AAdvantage miles after $15,000 in purchases within the first 5 months. It comes with new credits, including up to $500 toward American Airlines Vacations and up to $100 in inflight and Admirals Club purchases, plus Loyalty Point bonuses that now reach up to 40,000 a year.
• The sweet spot: AAdvantage still prices partner airline awards from a fixed, published award chart, even though American now prices its own flights dynamically, and that is where these miles shine. A standout is Qatar Airways Qsuites business class from the US to Doha, which books at a set chart price of around 70,000 miles one way rather than a moving fare, and American's Web Specials can occasionally drop economy awards below the standard chart. One honest caveat: Qatar has been releasing fewer business class seats to AAdvantage lately, so finding the seat is the hard part, not the price.
• Best ever, or worth the wait: at 125,000 miles this is the biggest offer we've tracked on this card. There's no telling how long it lasts or whether it comes back, so if you can hit the spend and will use the perks, there's little reason to wait.
• The catch: $15,000 in five months is a real spend requirement, and in an August 23, 2026 refresh the card was renamed the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard, with the annual fee rising from $595 to $695. The higher fee only pays off if you will actually use the Admirals Club access and the credits.
• Bottom line: a big bonus for frequent American flyers who value lounge access and will use the credits. If you would not, a cheaper AAdvantage card is probably the smarter pick.
