Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG One Rewards has a 100% transfer bonus through July 30 (then 70% through August). IHG points are a soft currency, so it is only worth it if you have a specific IHG stay in mind.
Chase is doubling transfers to IHG One Rewards through July 30: move Ultimate Rewards points and you'll get a 100% bonus, so 1,000 points become 2,000 IHG points. After that it drops to 70% through the end of August.
The honest read: IHG points are a soft currency, worth less than most of your other options, so this bonus mostly offsets that, it doesn't turn IHG into a home run. Only transfer if you have a specific IHG stay in mind. Ultimate Rewards are far more flexible right where they are, and transfers are one-way with no undo.
If you do have a booking lined up, the bonus roughly halves the points cost. And if you happen to carry the IHG One Rewards Premier card, its fourth reward night free on award stays stacks on top, though that perk only helps the folks who have that card.
Useful if you're already booking IHG. Easy to skip if you're not.
