A 20% bonus on US Amex Membership Rewards transfers to Aeromexico Rewards (Club Premier) runs from October 1 through October 30, 2026. On a normal day, 1,000 points become 1,600 Aeromexico points. If your account offers the 20% bonus, 1,000 points become 1,920.
Amex's public transfer page lists the standard rates and tells members to log in for special offers. Check whether your own account offers the bonus. Don't assume.
The part worth slowing down for is the count. A bigger number of points in one program is not a bigger award, because every airline currency is priced by its own program. Decide by the specific flight you'd book, find the award space first, and only then transfer what that booking needs. Check the details before you move points, and a bonus is a poor reason to go shopping for a trip you didn't already want.
